Climate Action Chef at Iceland Summit
Forage and cook at Iceland's northern most tip for the Future Food Institute and United Nations climate action warriors?
YES!!
I reason that if we're all underwater, everything else we love and advocate for it, well, sunk too, right?
In the summer of 2019, I rocked snow boots into JFK airport in 90 degree weather to get on a plane to a place that will surely stay with me forever, and let's just say, it was a VIBE.
WHO?
A passion for good food goes right back to Knorr®'s earliest days. The business was formed in 1838 when founder Carl Heinrich Knorr pioneered experiments in drying seasonings and vegetables to preserve their flavour and nutritional value. Since then, Knorr® has become an international brand offering a wide range of bouillons, soups, seasoning, sauces, soupy snacks, dressings and frozen and ready-made meals.
Partnership
Working with ABLF USA, I have spent time with Knorr® consulting and nurturing the brand's intention and purpose. Starting In 2019 at North Brooklyn Farms, Knorr® supported ABLF USA's first activation in the United States, a "Dinner for Good".
Since then, Knorr® & ABLF USA have built "Sharpen Up", a culinary workshop designed to increase food security. In response to COVID19, our collaborative partnership pivoted to show-up virtually and continue to support those who needed it most.
